While Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared in October 2010 that Iran had begun exporting oil distillates, oil minister Rostam Ghasemi expressed his hope on August 28 that Iran would start to export oil distillates after it finishes constructing its oil refineries at the end of 2012.
