Dubai's ETA Star will invest more than $1 billion in India's ports and aviation sector, the Business Standard newspaper reported.
ETA Star, a holding company for projects, including real estate and maritime shipping sectors, has already committed more than 90 billion rupees ($2.3 billion) in power and real estate in India, the newspaper added.
ETA Star likely to invest 40-45 billion rupees (about $1 - $1.14 billion) in developing a port in southern Tamil Nadu state. ($1 = 39.3669 Indian rupees).
ETA will also start commercial flights in southern India in June-July, and is waiting for a permit from the Indian government, the newspaper noted.
